Participants\, ages 10-18\, create teams of 3-5 members to work through technovation’s intensive\, 3-month curriculum. Supported by a mentor who works in technology\, teams imagine\, design\, and develop a mobile app to address a problem in their community\, then pitch their “startup” business to judges. Since 2009\, nearly 3\,000 young women from 28 countries have created mobile apps through technovation.\n\n\n\n\n
