The frenzy around self driving cars notched up in 2016. Over the next five years, the connected car is geared to disrupt the entire automotive ecosystem. The industry will undergo fundamental change as semi-autonomous driving emerges, followed by an eventual shift to full autonomous driving. The rush in innovation and technology advances signal a well poised transformation in the space of the automobile. Everyone from automotive majors to ride-hailing platform companies and smaller solution-providers are trying to make a statement and consolidate their commitment.

Discussions will begin by a short presentation on the current technology trends followed by a discussion of the business insights and the innovation initiatives from the perspective of the panelists and their respective organizations. The discussions will also include insight as to how smaller companies can play a role, in the boom, along with the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
