The industry will undergo fundamental change as semi-autonomous driving emerges, followed by an eventual shift to full autonomous driving. The rush in innovation and technology advances signal a well poised transformation in the space of the automobile. Everyone from automotive majors to ride-hailing platform companies and smaller solution-providers are trying to make a statement and consolidate their commitment.
