The Magic at NVIDIA’s GTC is in ECS” — Rob Enderle, for Tech Guru Daily

With hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs, you won’t want to miss the Emerging Companies Summit 2016! It’ll take place April 6, 2016, at the McEnery Convention Center in Silicon Valley.

A centerpiece of the summit will be our second annual Early Stage Challenge, when one of a dozen GPU-powered startups will be awarded $100,000 on the spot.

Any company building its business on top of a GPU-based platform that has raised no more than $1 million in capital to date should apply. We’re especially interested in companies focused on deep learning, virtual reality, automotive, robotics, big data and cloud computing.

All accepted applicants will be:

    • Offered a free demonstration space in the GPU Technology Conference 2016 exhibition hall. GTC takes place April 4-7, 2016, at the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose. Learn about the great value of this demo pod here.
    • Eligible for the Early Stage Companies top 12 competition (April 6, 2016)
    • Eligible for the ECS awards ($100K+ prizes in value)
    • Invited to the ECS CEO Summit (April 6, 2016)

Twelve applicants will be selected to present on stage during the Early Stage Challenge on April 6. Here’s how the event works:

    • Speakers will be allowed four minutes of presentation and four minutes of interaction with the judging panel. (Watch the 2015 presentations here.)
    • At the end of the presentations, the judges and the audience will vote to elect the company that has the highest likelihood for commercial success.
    • The winning company will receive a check for $100,000.
    • Note: All speakers must participate in presentation coaching sessions.

To apply to the Early Stage Challenge, fill out this form by Jan. 12, 2016.
